Gefle Metal Festival takes place July 13-15 in Gävle Sweden. It will be three days filled with hard metal such as thrash, black, death etc. at the Gasklockorna area in Gävle, Sweden.
Gasklockorna is a well known festival area and it's walking distance from Gävle City centre. Hotels, hostels and shops are close by and it's easy to reach the festival with trains and buses. In the festival area's proximity you will find a camping for tents and caravans.
Gävle is centrally located in Sweden and the festival area is just outside the city centre.

There will be a lot of people in a limited area so safety is a high priority. Please show respect and consideration to other festival visitors.
For security reasons, all visitors are searched at the entrance to the festival. Note! Unauthorized items will be disposed of and will not be returned.
Grilling is only permitted in designated grill areas. Disposable barbecues and spirit stoves may only be used in these places.
It is not permitted to use power stations/generators.
Get to know your neighbours at the campsite and create a safe atmosphere in your area.
Follow the rescue service's instructions regarding the distance between tents and caravans which is 3 meters between each tent and 4 meters between each caravan.
Due to the Swedish authorities' rules regarding noise limits, we have an age limit which is 13 years. Recommended age limit for the camping area is 16 years.
Due to Swedish Law smoking is prohibited in the festival area except in the designated smoking area.
The smoking ban also includes electronic cigarettes, hookahs, smoking herbal products and products that are equivalent to smoking but do not contain tobacco.
There are a large number of healthcare workers on site during the festival. The medical staff move all over the festival area and have medical tents where injured people can be cared for. See the area map for the location of the medical tents. Seek them out if you need care or contact the nearest festival host/medical staff if necessary who will help you.
There are fire extinguishers and trained staff both at the festival area and the camping area. All fires are totally forbidden. Grilling can be done at designated areas.

Show respect and consideration for residents living in the area.
Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband and the exchange is situated at the festival's entrance.
A lost wristband will not be refunded.
It is possible to store your things at the entrance of the festival for 40 SEK per garment/bag.
The bar, foodtrucks and entrence accept only card.
Please go to the information close to the entrance if you have lost anything. After the festival all found items will be delivered to the Gävle police.
Most of the stage area consists of gravel and some asphalt. The ground is generally levelled, which makes it easy to get around the area.
Inside the festival area there will be a good variety of food trucks and alcohol will be served. The age limit is 18 for alcohol and you must be able to show identification at the entrance to the bar.

You cannot bring food or drinks to the stage area.
There are toilets in both the stage area and the campsite.
There will be power banks to borrow. The price will be 100 SEK per power bank that you can keep for a whole day.

In addition to comfortable seating and a lovely atmosphere, there will be a chance to get a tattoo and look at art exhibitions. The art will also be for sale.
There will be games such as board games, table tennis, air hockey, fussball as well as a bar with a larger selection.
You can get tattooed by Ida Morbida or Impaler Ink. This can only be done in the VIP area.

There will be indoor toilets with running water.
We are not responsible for individual artists canceling their gigs and therefore do not give refunds. We do not replace lost festival tickets or refund money in the event of an incorrect purchase. Visitors and bags are always searched at the entrance. This is to ensure that unauthorized items are not brought into the festival area. We reserve the right to deny a person access if they refuse to be searched, this for security reasons. No system cameras are allowed, this for legal reasons. Photography with mobile phones and compact cameras is permitted.
Remember to drink plenty of water, especially on hot days. You will find several water stations inside the area. Don't forget to protect your hearing, earplugs are available for purchase inside the stage area.
